Healthy environment to feel safe to release
Removing yourself from your daily life to a safe place where you feel comfortable
Plant medicines to assist in releasing blocks, emotion, and toxins

No two people have exactly the same needs for healing or intentions of becoming. That’s what is so beautiful about Quest Peru, all people on all levels can participate. Healing is like yoga – each experience can be put to use at whatever level you’re at. Whether beginner or advanced, the work will meet you exactly where you are at. Extremely life-changing things happen on these journeys.

Your Role

WHAT YOU PUT IN IS WHAT YOU GET OUT

Prepping your body, setting intentions, taking the time to deeply think about what you are wanting to get out of your quest will be very helpful to you. Think of what traits about yourself that you would get rid of it you could. If you could shead those undesirable things and replace them with something better. What would you like to infuse into yourself? Setting intentions helps to set the tone of your journey and prepares the psyche for a shift.

CLEAN YOURSELF

We invite you to rid your body of impurities which can hold emotional blocks in place and keep toxins stuck in tissues. The more you can put into the dietary preparations the better the healing process will be for you and the benefits will be far greater. We suggest a vegetarian diet two weeks before arriving in Peru. Avoid caffienne, sugar, alcohol, hot spices and pharmaceuticals which can lock your brain (anti-depressants and ADT/ADHT meds) .

About Darrin

Hello fellow seekers, my name is Darrin. I take groups to Peru on transformational journeys to work with the top shamans there – my teachers. This work is very important to me and I love to see the growth and healing that comes from these journeys with the people I take to this sacred land. But before I started taking groups – I would go to Peru twice a year for my own healing.

I had a headache every day for three years. Western medical said nothing was wrong and that I was just getting older and “that’s what older felt like.” Then they asked if I wanted antidepressants. “I don’t want to feel good about feeling bad,” I replied! So I never took them.

My searching led me to a woman named Mama Kia who started a home for orphaned children in Sacred Valley. She took 33 kids in from off the streets and gave them a home. It was by no chance that I was guided to her. (It’s a very long and amazing story). She took me to my first ayahuasca ceremony where I truly believe I released an energetic parasite. Next day I had no headache. This was my first window of clarity and I returned to Peru for more of my own healing. It was this night that shifted my life forever.

Years later, it is I who now introduces this work to others. I host a support group for like-minded seekers called Medicine Monday in Dallas, Texas to assist in spreading this message of healing, exploring different spiritual modalities, teaching personal development and meditation practices. This has become my work.

I thank Mama Kia for introducing me to something that would change my life. And I continue her legacy by spreading this message to others. After Mana Kia passed from cancer I have continued to befriend her orphanage, bring donations from the US, and later became the president of the orphanage organization for three years. They are part of my Peruvian family.

Taking people to Peru for the full transformational journey has been one of the highlights of my life. It’s with this quest that I’ve seen the most profound shifts in people. The journey consists of 5 ceremonies over 11 days. Being in this sacred land, eating pure clean food, being away from everyday life, and doing deep work by cleaning the body, mind, and spirit through these ceremonies has been an experience that will never be forgotten. This trip to Peru with me and working with my teachers is something that participants will never forget. I love giving people an experience that will last the rest of their lives!

The quest consists of 5 ceremonies: 3 ayahuasca and 2 san pedro. I call it a “buffet of shamans” to show the different approaches to working with these medicines. One teacher holds the title of “the official keeper of the soul of Machu Picchu.” These teachers are the best of best and give a diverse expression of this work. We are in temples, a sweat tent, on the mountain of Machu Picchu, and one night in the jungle.

While on this quest I also teach a progressive meditation on centering. Each day we add to this meditation to build “your center”. A place within you that only you can go. A place that you will be able to carry within you and visit for the rest of your life. This meditation is influenced by the great Alexander Everett known as “A Teacher of Teachers.” It was the one thing he felt was the most important gift to give humanity at the end of his life. And it is this meditation that changed my life and my most important tool I use for manifesting, connecting, energy healing, etc. It’s a privilege for me to share it with others.

I teach – but I am always a student. I continue to learn from the masters and assist those who hear the call to learn.
